Whether you’re dreaming of a large, deeply personal artwork for your home, or a tiny painting a cockatoo dressed as a pirate, commissions are an opportunity to create something that exists nowhere else.
My commissioned artworks are original oil and mixed media paintings, created especially for you and guided by your ideas, your story and the things you love.
Big feelings. Little characters. Everything in between.
Some commissions are about meaning, honouring a person, a place, a milestone or a chapter of your life.
They might explore resilience, belonging, healing, love or transformation, brought together through imagery, symbolism, colour and texture to create a piece that feels deeply personal and completely your own.
Others are about joy.
Maybe you want your family painted as a gaggle of geese.
Maybe your beloved dog deserves to be immortalised in a tiny oil painting wearing a cowboy hat.
Perhaps you have a favourite Australian bird and have always thought it would look better in an Akubra.
Or maybe you simply have a wonderfully weird idea that you can't stop thinking about.

My smaller Tiny Treasures style commissions are designed for exactly this kind of thing, little paintings with big personalities, created to celebrate the people, pets, creatures and wonderfully silly ideas that make you smile.
A painting with your story in it
For larger commissions, we can explore the story, symbolism and feeling you want the artwork to hold. We’ll talk about what matters to you, the atmosphere you’re drawn to, and the imagery that feels meaningful.
For smaller, quirkier commissions, the process can be much simpler: tell me who (or what) you have in mind, and let’s see where the fun takes us.
You might send me photographs, tell me about their personality, share a ridiculous outfit idea, or simply say, “I need my three dogs as three very distinguished gentlemen.”
I’ll take your idea and bring it to life in my own expressive style.
How it works
We’ll begin with a conversation about your idea, the size and style of artwork you’re imagining, and what you’d like the finished piece to feel like.
For larger works, this might involve exploring references, symbolism, composition and colour together.
For smaller commissions, it may be as simple as sending through a few good photographs and telling me all about the personality you want captured.
From there, I’ll create your artwork in my signature style, expressive, layered, a little quirky and always guided by what you’ve shared.
My process is intuitive, so while your idea provides the starting point, I leave room for the artwork to develop its own personality along the way.
The result is something made especially for you.
Sometimes it holds a memory.
Sometimes it tells a story.
Sometimes it makes you laugh.
And sometimes, wonderfully, it does all three.
