My personalised commissions are original oil and mixed media works, created at a custom size to suit your individual requirements. Each commission is an invitation to honour what matters most to you, whether that’s celebrating resilience and survival, championing professional achievements, commemorating loved ones, or capturing moments and memories of joy. What you are investing in is not simply a painting, but a one-of-a-kind artwork that tells your story and resonates with your personal journey. Before requesting a commission, I encourage you to spend some time with my work, through my website or social media, to ensure my style and approach feel like the right fit for your vision. There are so many incredible artists in the world, and finding one whose work you truly connect with is an important part of the journey.
Once you’re ready, I would be truly honoured to create a piece especially for you. Before beginning, I’ll take the time to understand your hopes and intentions for the artwork through the commission enquiry form. If there are any pieces of mine you feel particularly drawn to, or a style that resonates with you, we can use that as a starting point for inspiration.
Your artwork will be created in my signature style, guided by the information you share. I do not paint photorealistic portraits of specific people or animals; instead, I focus on expressing meaning through symbolism and imagery that speaks to your story. My process is intuitive by nature, so I encourage an open mind rather than a fixed expectation of the final outcome.

If you would like to cancel your commission after the deposit has been paid, this amount can be used as credit for any other product on the website.

The Commission Process

Getting Started
Secure your spot in the Commissions calendar by purchasing the deposit above. Because of the time that goes into these pieces, I am only able to take a set number per year.
After purchase, I will be in touch via the provided email address to collect your thoughts and inspirations for the piece.
Helpful information might include:

Would you like a floral, portrait, animal, abstract, or combination themed piece?

What part of your journey do you want your piece to celebrate? A personal milestone? A change in perspective or new life path?

Are there any motifs or personal symbols/elements you would like to be included in the piece? Such as specific flowers, animals, items ( the sky is the limit)

Are there any texts/ song lyrics. scriptures that you would like collaged into the foundation?
Remember, this artwork tells YOUR story, so the more information that you can provide me, the closer to your vision we will be able to get.
Once we have nailed down the design brief, a quote and commission agreement will be sent to you for approval, as well as a rough timeframe for completion.
Please note that while I will do my very best to meet personal deadlines, this cannot be guaranteed.

The Painting Process
Based on the design brief that we worked on together, a concept image/sketch will be created outlining the general design and sent to you for approval.
Once approved, the creative process will begin!
Your artwork will be created using a variety of mixed media techniques to create depth and texture. It will then be finished off in luxurious oil paint that gives a beautiful richness and vibrancy.
Commissions (pending size) will generally take between 1–3 months from start to finish. This includes drying time between layers ( some of which can be quite time consuming)
You will be kept up to date with the progress and expected completion times as we go.
Once the pieces is finished, you will receive a photo for approval.
If you would like to order fine art prints of your piece (to give to friends or family) this can be organised at this time.
Fine art prints will incur an additional cost:

Please note that the size of your artwork will determine which size prints we are able to create.

Final Steps
Before your painting can depart from the studio to your home, it will need an additional few days to cure and be varnished.
During this time, the final invoice will be sent out for the outstanding balance.
If you are paying by payment plan (an avenue set up at the time of quoting), the artwork will be shipped upon the payment of the final installment, as per the Payment Plan Policy.
Once the invoice is paid, and the painting is fully completed, it will be delivered through Australia post to your doorstep alongside a Certificate of Authenticity and any additional art prints.
Shipping is no additional cost and is included in the commission cost.
Commissions are sold unframed. If you are interested in custom framing options, please reach out and a separate quote from the framers can be organised. Please note that this will result in your delays at the discression of the framing company.

The original painting will be yours. I, however, retain the copyright to and reproduction rights of the all artworks created in my studio.
The purchase or commissioning of an original painting does not grant you permission to create or sell reproductions. This is inclusive of but not limited to: posters, printing, merchandise etc.
I may use digital copies of this artwork in markerting, promotion, and retain the rights to make prints from all of my artworks.
The process of this artwork may be shown on social media for advertising purposes.
